Retire "optimized" kernels

On Ubuntu's most popular architectures, we build the kernel several times in order to apply compile-time optimizations. It is not clear that this is worth the tradeoff involved in maintaining these extra builds, so we should collect statistical data, and if it supports our hypothesis, retire them.
