ubuntu for Internet cafés

Registered by David Prieto

In order to be spread as widely as possible, Ubuntu should offer everything an Internet café owner may need. If we get café owners to install Ubuntu in at least a portion of their machines many people will learn about Ubuntu, and maybe they can even get a copy in the café!

Some users have suggested to create a whole new Ubuntu bundle (namely Cafebuntu) with a modified student-control-panel server, which would allow the cafe owner to start and end the client's session, as well as more advanced features like a billing system or software to undo any changes in the system after a session is closed.
